The Role
Overview
Two-year rotational program developing commercial expertise in GE Vernova’s energy business.

Tasks
-Partner with the Proposal team in the development and compilation of proposals to meet customers’ and sales team requirements. -Support customer negotiations; ensure deals deliver shareholder value to contribute positively to sales, orders, and profitability. -Collaborate with Sales Managers to define the sales strategy for targeted clients and develop a thorough understanding and analysis of the core markets. -Build and present the Risk & Opportunities analysis and the associated risk mitigation plans alongside the Sales Managers. -Participate in or deliver customer presentations. -Work closely with the Commercial Teams to support development of the overall business growth strategy, including market analysis, market opportunities identification, and execution of the sales growth plan. -Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk with the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.

What You Bring
-Strong demonstrated interest in the energy industry. -Significant on-the-job learning and experience with personalized rotation assignments within the commercial functions and other areas of your assigned business, giving you exposure to different markets, products, and leaders. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant science degree: -Prior intern/co-op or relevant work experience (maximum of 2 years work experience post university graduation) preferably in sales, sales support, or marketing in the energy industry -Legal authorization to work in US. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job. -Wind: Engineering majors and business majors with demonstrated technical aptitude -Spoken and written fluency in English. -Business acumen with the ability to motivate others -Academic excellence: minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA out of 4.0 (without rounding) -Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills -Electrification Software: Power Systems, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Software Engineering, or Computer Science -Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills
