Tasks
We create great places for our customers to live, selecting desirable locations for our developments and taking a holistic approach to the design of our homes and their surroundings. As a Project Manager you will provide expertise, experience and leadership to ensure the site consistently builds to Crest Nicholson’s Health, Safety & Environmental standards and in line with the agreed programme and budget, while complying with all Group procedures and external regulations, in particular those relating to the HSE, and upholding the Group’s reputation with customers, suppliers and the community at large. -Creating project execution plans for the execution and delivery of the works. -Overseeing the engagement and management of sub-contractors to ensure the performance they deliver is in line with their contractual obligations. -Ensuring the site team perform to the required standard through effective leadership, coaching and performance management. -Regular site visits to review quality and delivery of the works. -Attend regular legacy project team meetings and to chair meetings. -Liaison and responsibility of residents and stakeholders of the associated works. -Ensuring that weekly progress is completed on time and accurately. -Ensuring all other site management information and data is recorded fully, accurately and in a timely fashion. -Coordinating project review meetings to ensure quality discussion and liaison between production functions. -Monitoring and controlling prelim spend to ensure it is kept within budget (whilst not compromising HSE or quality). -Ensuring standards of site presentation meet our Customer Service Guidelines. -Updates and presentation’s to the Eastern board. -CVR responsibility with all costs known and managed within set budgets and cash flows. -Leading the legacy team to professionally deliver and execute the resolution of multiple workstreams satisfying an array of different stake holders to reduce our legacy project portfolio. -Ensuring the legacy projects are executed in line with Crest Nicholson Health, Safety & Environmental standards as well as cooperating with, and acting upon advice given by the HSE or our Health & Safety Inspector (currently Premier).

What You Bring
-Commercially and financially astute and able to report and present CVR’s or equivalent cost performance. -Proven supervisory experience in multi-phase and mixed-use projects with experience in running large and small teams. -Strong negotiation skills. -Strong team and people management skills. -Motivated and able to engage with all levels of staff; colleagues and third parties -Health and Safety focused with the ability to naturally promote a safe working environment. -Able to build strong working relationships. -Computer Literate & ability to adapt to new technologies. -Excellent communication skills. -Excellent time management and able to manage multiple subcontractors on site
