Lead building science projects, manage teams, conduct investigations, and oversee restoration.

Tasks
-Monitor and manage project tasks budgets and schedules -Lead project teams delivering consulting engineering services to clients -Mentor, coach, and develop employees through daily project work -Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and direct project teams -Undertake building investigations and field reviews for design, repair, and restoration -Prepare proposals and pursue new work -Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects through the construction stage, including contractor performance to ensure project deliverables and standards are met -Communicate effectively with clients by keeping them informed of site issues impacting project quality and resolving issues quickly -Prepare building investigation reports and construction documents -Working as a prime consultant on projects

What You Bring
-Experience with suspended access equipment (work from heights) an asset -Must be able to meet project deadlines -A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment -LEED Accreditation, PMP would be an asset -Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications -Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or a related field -Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills -Registered with APEGA or AAA -Knowledge in current energy requirements in building codes and energy modelling -8-10+ years’ experience in the Building Science industry with:New construction and building envelope restorationParking structure condition surveys would be an assetWorking as a prime consultant on projects -Organized, works well under pressure, able to deal with situations with tact -Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail -A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required
