The Role

Overview

Oversee M&E maintenance, spare inventory, PPM and contractor performance in facilities.

Tasks

-Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables; -To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices; -Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets. -Assist the Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time; -Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client; -Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Chief Engineer; -Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters; -Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment’s; -Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports. -Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager; -Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations; -Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams; -Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns; -Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations; -Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment; -Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client; -Support the Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer in managing the , Electrical, Plumbing installations & maintenance within the facility;

What You Bring

-DEE / BE Tertiary qualifications in either Electrical Engineering essential; -MS Excel -Very Good people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands; -Good Communication -4-5 years of experience facility management. -Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements; -Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team -Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiative.
