Tasks

In this newly created role, the Manager, Infrastructure Growth will lead the development of commercial and strategic initiatives that support long-term expansion. You’ll shape where the organisation focuses, build partnerships with external stakeholders, and help deliver projects and pilots that unlock new opportunities. This is your chance to play a visible role in shaping the future of how infrastructure is delivered. You’ll influence investment decisions, test new ideas, and build partnerships that have long-term impact, all while working with a senior team that values purpose, innovation and delivery. -Building the case for where to invest, partner, or innovate and where not to -Leading conversations with external stakeholders including councils, utilities, government bodies and commercial partners -Partnering with internal teams to turn strategy into action across development, planning and commercial functions -Staying across major market movements, policy changes, and investment trends -Acting as a visible and credible representative for the organisation in key forums and negotiations -Preparing strategic insights, analysis and board-level communications for senior decision-makers -Designing and driving a long-term growth roadmap across priority markets

It’s a unique role that blends strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and external engagement, perfect for someone who enjoys navigating complexity and influencing outcomes across large-scale systems. -A confident communicator who builds trust quickly with diverse stakeholders -Financial literacy (modelling experience desirable) and comfort navigating ambiguous or fast-changing environments -Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert them into practical, value-generating outcomes -Experience in complex organisations, ideally infrastructure, government, consulting or utilities -A collaborative style, with the ability to work across internal silos and drive shared results -Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Public Policy or related fields -A strong background in strategy, commercial growth, or infrastructure development (7+ years’ experience)
