Lead O&M of large-scale water treatment projects, overseeing tendering, delivery, and operations.

Tasks

-Prepare, develop, and update asset maintenance plans to maximize plant availability and asset life -Incorporate client objectives into our tender and way of working. -Identify, evaluate, and determine how to manage risks and opportunities -Gather valuable information from clients to deliver strategic solutions. -Ensure process, mechanical, and electrical equipment selection, construction, and installation meet O&M project specifications and requirements. -Analyze the usage of DE tools for optimisation of O&M costs and ensure robust operations -Prepare, review, and provide written deliverables as required within the tendering process. -Collaboration and advisory to the engineering team on the selection of treatment processes and technologies to optimize TOTEX -Coordinate and file project O&M documentation, including tender and contract documents, correspondence, and safety, quality, and environmental documentation. -Contribute to the development of Management Plans, Functional Descriptions, Commissioning, ITPs, Performance tests, and O&M documentation. -Prepare, present O&M cost estimates & yearly budgets -Develop and present O&M cost estimates -Develop and evaluate value engineering proposals -Recruiting the Key roles in the O&M team & ensuring alliance culture is built from the early stages and maintained throughout the O&M. -Give due consideration to the sustainability impact of all acts and or omissions, either by oneself or by others. -Develop and present material for client interactive workshops. -Ensure protection of the environment at all times. -Support management with scoping, specification, and tendering during the procurement phase. -Comply, so far as is reasonable, with all reasonable instructions, either personally or to the business, given so as to comply with project contractual requirements, Acts and or Regulations -Provide all necessary tools to meet water quality specifications and manage any water quality-related incidents. -Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel at all times -Develop and compile project reports, communicate with clients and partners, and coordinate regular status meetings.

What You Bring

-O&M experience in a design team or a tendering team. -Spanish language skills preferred. -O&M experience for a minimum of 5 years at the senior manager level of conventional and or desalination water treatment processes -Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English (including technical report writing). -Ability to work within a team as well as independently. -Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. -Ability to prioritize and work autonomously on tasks. -Willingness and flexibility to travel both interstate and overseas.
