Tasks

-Schedule meetings with subcontractors to review and qualify quotes. -Evaluates and qualifies subcontractor quotes to ensure their scope of work is comprehensive, competitive and in accordance with the bid documents -Works closely with architects/engineers (A/E) and other professionals: responsible for preparing and submitting requests for information to the A/E’s. -Attend Pre-bid meetings and travel to project location, if required. -Writes, presents and submits budgets, bids and RFP responses to senior management and clients. -Resolves cost differences by analyzing quotes along with historical pricing data. -Prepares general construction schedules based on scope of work in bids/RFPs. -Prepares budget estimates and detailed take offs for construction bids and request for proposals (RFP) by reviewing and studying plans and specifications.

What You Bring

-Ability to navigate specifications and plans -Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. -Knowledge of the latest building codes -10 years of experience preferred -Proficient in utilizing software to perform detailed takeoffs -Familiar with electric vehicle infrastructure projects is a plus. -Ability to handle multiple assignments at once -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong math skills -Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
