Tasks

-Prepare technical recommendations, project documentation, and reports of results in alignment with regulatory and client requirements. -Maintain a commitment to GHD’s core value of Safety in all project activities. -Provide guidance to project teams in communication, client engagement, and technical quality. -Ensure deliverables meet regulatory standards and internal quality expectations. -Manage multiple air quality projects spanning disciplines such as permitting, dispersion modeling, emissions reporting, regulatory compliance, and audits. -Conduct air quality analyses, assess regulatory compliance, and perform applicability evaluations across multiple industries. -Recommend and implement improvements in environmental compliance processes and documentation. -Develop complete and accurate air quality permits for Title V, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), and New Source Review compliance. -Manage projects, track progress, and maintain successful relationships with clients, employees, and subcontractors. -Identify and assess client needs related to environmental compliance, permitting, and reporting. -Support compliance management programs within the chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors. -Perform multiple tasks within defined scope, budget, and schedule expectations. -Communicate complex regulatory issues and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. -Build and sustain relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and responsiveness. -Apply a thorough understanding of air emissions and emission reporting processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. -Work with clients and colleagues to meet deadlines on unique and challenging air quality projects. -Supervise and mentor junior staff in technical execution and professional development. -Prepare emission inventory reports and quantify air pollutant emissions and impacts.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. -Master’s degree preferred. -Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships in a consulting environment. -Minimum of 10 years of direct consulting or industry experience involving environmental permitting and compliance. -Experience supervising and mentoring staff (1–3 years). -Demonstrated experience with Title V, PSD, and NSR air permitting, emissions inventories, and compliance management.
