Tasks
The Revit Technician will be responsible for creating and editing 3D models which output architectural drawings and M&E design plans for buildings, utility drawings, machinery layout drawings, pipework drawings and isometrics, P&IDs, and 3D visualisations using Revit and working within the CAD and Engineering Departments. -Co-ordination of all services based on the design engineer’s input -Production of isometric drawings for pipe fabrication and installation -Supporting and liaising with the engineering design teams across the Group -Co-ordinate preparation of all handover documentation -Attending project team and co-ordination meetings as required -Ensure adherence to industry BIM standards -Production of detailed accurate 3D models based on the design engineer’s sketches, calculations and input using relevant software -Supporting the engineering design team, liaise and collaborate with external design teams, on CAD matters as appropriate -Applying families, parameters and detailing standards -Maintaining and improving the drawing office quality standards and documentation

What You Bring
-The successful candidate will have a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in Revit -Range of administrative skills required, involving the use of PCs and Microsoft Office applications -Co-ordination, clash detection management and performing QA/QC procedures -Generating plans, elevations and isometric drawings from the design engineer’s input while having an appreciation of civil, mechanical, electrical and process systems -Ability to manage and coordinate BIM models between different teams is desirable -Generation and knowledge of P&IDs -The individual should be self-motivated, eager to learn and prepared to progress within the company -Knowledge of M&E services coordination is desirable -Ability to work on own initiative and within a multi-disciplined team to meet daily and weekly deadlines. -Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Inventor or similar, would be advantageous -Knowledge and/or experience in BIM is desirable -Ability to meet tight deadlines and ability to work alone or within a team. -Ability to visit sites and complete surveys to a high standard
