The Role

Overview

Lead utility engineering for NJ highway projects, handling design, coordination, and compliance.

Tasks

-Building strong client relationships and being the main point of contact to a variety of utility clients -Directing a team to perform record research, including utility as builts, development of SUE programs, identification of conflicts and designing relocation schemes acceptable to the companies. -Representing AECOM at meetings with NJTA, NJDOT, and municipal clients as well as utility owners to resolve utility conflicts on highway projects. -Reviewing and assisting with development of private utility alignments to avoid utility interferences. -Managing scope, schedule, and budget for utility infrastructure projects

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus six years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Experience in utility engineering or a related field. -Strong knowledge of utility relocation processes, standards, and regulations for NJTA and NJDOT. -10+ years of experience with utility engineering services. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -NJDOT Professional Engineer (PE) license. -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
