- Collect accurate field data for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Record and check field notes, measurements, and other documentation
- Operate and maintain a variety of survey instruments, including GPS, Trimble total stations, and data collectors
- Assist in establishing horizontal and vertical control points
- Set up, operate, and adjust instruments under the direction of the Survey Party Chief
- Adhere to company safety policies and field procedures
- Travel to and stay at project locations in multiple states on rare occasions
- Support efficient project completion by maintaining communication with the Survey Party Chief and office staff

- Excellent communication skills
- Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED
- Must be a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Current valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles is required
- Applicable survey experience preferred but not required
- During site visits, must be able to walk, lift, carry, stoop, bend, twist and work outdoors on uneven surfaces routinely. Site visits may include exposure to weather extremes and rough or uneven terrain
