General Foreperson - Electrical

Overview

Supervises electrical crews, installs/maintains systems across Alberta projects.

Tasks

-Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. -Monitor field progress and report to the Project Superintendent -Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services. -Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes. -Lead a crew of up to 10 workers. -Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment. -Supervise field teams while working alongside the crew. -Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications. -Monitors and enforces safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• journeyperson
• driver’s license
• drug test
• 5/2 rotation
• 8/6 rotation

What You Bring

-5/2 rotation -Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test. -8/6 rotation -Possess a valid Journeyperson certificate issued by the appropriate provincial or federal authority. -Valid Driver’s License.
