Supervises electrical installation, repair, and coordination on construction projects

Tasks

-Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craftsmen -Select appropriate tools and materials for installation -Work with other craft superintendents and project managers to accomplish projects -Install or direct the installation of material and equipment in buildings or work sites -Maintain time records -Interpret and enforce company policies to include safety regulations -Interpret specifications, blue prints and work orders -Adjust work to meet construction schedules -Supervise and coordinate sub-contractor activities

What You Bring

-Ability to think critically and resolve problems -Must have valid driver's license. -Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines -Can communicate and give written instruction in a professional manner -Journeyman card in electrical field or an electrical license -At least 5 years of Construction Foreman experience -Ability to interpret mechanical, plumbing and structural drawings -Must be high school graduate or hold G.E.D. -Comfortable with MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook) -Able to operate a backhoe -Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately -Able to lay out parking lot lighting and install pole bases
