Manage civil engineering design projects, overseeing schedule, budget, safety, and subcontractors.

Tasks

-Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews), and driving customer value. -Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns, and manage engineering resources within budget. -Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution. -Duties include the creation of proposals, scheduling, and budgeting on energy projects. -Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor/vendor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting. -Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders. -The successful candidate will interact with Client stakeholders and coordinate workload with existing design staff.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. -Devise innovative and creative solutions to problems encountered. -7+ years of related experience, 3-4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required. -Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.
