HR Generalist managing employee relations, HR programs, recruitment, and compliance.

Tasks
-Prepare and process HR documentation across functional areas (e.g., new hires, promotions, terminations, disciplinary actions) -Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA and discretionary leaves; coordinate with HR to conduct ADA interactive processes and determine potential accommodations -Conduct and coordinate training sessions for leaders and employees on a variety of topics such as HR compliance, leadership development, and policies/procedures -Partner with Talent Acquisition to streamline recruitment and onboarding processes for hourly and salaried positions; support recruitment efforts through interviews (Targeted Selection), on-site/off-site events, and onboarding activities including new hire orientation -Maintain accurate records through HRIS and timekeeping systems; monitor data for reporting and compliance -Investigate and support resolution of employee concerns, including performance, conduct, and attendance issues; mediate workplace conflicts and provide guidance on disciplinary procedures and documentation -Ensure the consistent application of Human Resources programs and policies, including employment, compensation, staffing strategies, benefits, training, payroll, and employee relations -Support retention efforts by tracking and analyzing KPIs (e.g., hiring, turnover, retention, overtime), conducting exit interviews, and advising on retention strategies -Support unemployment claim responses and documentation preparation -Partner with HR leadership and client group leadership to manage organizational planning, including job descriptions, skills assessments, and career development within functional areas -Assist in the development and review of HR policies and ensure appropriate communication and understanding across employee groups -Provide guidance to leaders, supervisors, and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs; respond to inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws

What You Bring
-Knowledge of appropriate legislation pertaining to employment (both Federal and State law), compensation and benefits and other related human resources functions -Minimum of three to five years HR experience preferably within a manufacturing facility -Must be comfortable working in high-volume and fast-pace environment -Willing to work flexible hours as needed to support operations -Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, business or equivalent work experience
