Collect data and assist with updates to environmental plans, including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
Assist with development and review of environmental permit applications and compliance plans.
Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., HAZWOPER, RCRA).
Conduct field inspections and environmental sampling at client sites throughout Nebraska and the broader region (up to 50% travel required).
Oversee contractors performing major repairs or upgrades.
Ensure projects adhere to established schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain documentation, inspection logs, and operational reports.
Provide environmental training on topics such as stormwater management and spill prevention.
Collect routine operational data for water treatment systems and assist in troubleshooting and system optimization.
Support preparation and submittal of regulatory reports such as DMRs, NPDES, RCRA, EPCRA/Tier II, and air quality reports.
Perform basic system repairs (e.g., PVC piping, meter and valve replacements).
Collaborate with project managers to complete compliance audits and environmental assessments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients and field personnel.

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience with water or wastewater treatment systems, environmental compliance inspections, or field sampling programs
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Experience: 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
