Tasks

-Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards -Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders -Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans -Perform site assessments and analyze data to inform infrastructure planning decisions -Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team -Implement sustainable and innovative solutions in infrastructure design and planning -Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed infrastructure projects -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials -Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for urban development projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public facilities

What You Bring

-Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, is highly desirable -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field -Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning and engineering -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word -In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE -Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus -Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainable urban development practices -Strong skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and GIS applications -Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams -Demonstrated experience with urban development projects and infrastructure systems
