What You Bring
-Communicate effectively as part of a team and understand sales and negotiating techniques. -Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements. -Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. -Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements. -Understands and can instruct drywall and ceiling industry’s labor, materials and methods. -Knowledge of federal, state and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations. -Ability to provide technical guidance and/or supervision to architects, structural engineers, and independent building contractors. -Team learner and leader- must have growth mindset. -Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus. -Dedicated to customer service, outgoing, and likable attitude. -Ability to make complex operating, administrative, and procedural decisions. -Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations. -Ability to form strong relationships with customers to create repeat business . -Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures. -Read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals. -Exhibits high attention to detail. -Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. -Commercial Drywall Construction background. -Talented communication skills: In-person, verbal, and written. -Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality. -Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms. -Computer and technology savvy: Estimating software - Quick Bid/On-Screen Takeoff.
