- Travel to customer sites as needed to perform site surveys, assessments, customer meetings, and possibly participate in safety discussions
- Provide technical comments & exceptions to customer specifications and support clarifications meetings as needed.
- Develop the cost budget for identified technical scope and if required, obtain major equipment vendor quotes by providing the necessary engineering specifications.
- Responsible for technical handover of won proposals to execution team
- Define the overall technical scope for requested/proposed upgrades, including but not limited to Engine, Package Mechanical, Package Electrical, Controls scopes and associated drawings updates for the proposal.
- Drive improvement initiatives within the team
- Identify, quantify and develop mitigation plans for technical risks during the bid phase to achieve a successful execution by the project team.

- Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts to diverse parties with varying technical backgrounds
- Experience with digital tools like Power BI are a plus
- Experience in aeroderivative gas turbines is highly desired. Certifications such BOSIET/CA-EBS/MIST/H2S are a plus
- 10+ years’ applicable experience with Controls, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in the oil and gas/power generation industry
- Experience in interpretation and writing of engineering/equipment specifications.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Field or Engineering Technology OR equivalent experience Or Masters in an Engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite including the following: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
