The Role

Overview

Travel East Coast to service, troubleshoot, and upgrade industrial automation equipment.

Tasks

-Perform audits, retrofits, and safety checks to ensure compliance and reliability. -Travel to customer sites across the East Coast to service, troubleshoot, and upgrade industrial automation and packaging equipment. -Work directly with PLCs (Allen Bradley or similar) and robotic arms (FANUC or equivalent) to keep systems running at peak performance. -Provide on-site training, advice, and recommendations to improve up-time and productivity. -Log reports, manage expenses, and stay in close touch with the service team while on the road. -Support customers with both technical expertise and great communication skills.

What You Bring

-Ability to interpret schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting (upload/download). -Comfortable with long days and adapting to changing travel schedules. -Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license; able to travel extensively. -Degree in automation, electrical, or mechanical technology (or equivalent experience). -Strong background in controls, PLCs, robotics, and electromechanical systems. -Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
