Assist tax team preparing returns, handling inquiries, reconciling accounts, and providing support.

Tasks

-Providing customer service to support branch operations -Responding to and resolving jurisdictional inquiries and correspondence -Performing tax account reconciliations and resolving any exceptions -Participating in team training designed to further develop technical tax and interpersonal skills -Preparing sales, use, income, and property tax returns for jurisdictions throughout the U.S.

What You Bring

-Displays dedication to delivering quality work, prepared accurately and completely -Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, data analytics, or tax -Ability to develop strong relationships with team members and other internal stakeholders -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -Experience with Alteryx, Thomas Reuters ONESOURCE Determination, CCH AnswerConnect, OneSource RS Express, and/or PowerBI is a plus -Local to the Kansas City Metro area -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Available to work a 40-hour work week during the summer of 2026
