Tasks

-Test and evaluate customer returned merchandise, working with engineering to recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence. -Suggest changes in test procedures to enhance operations and prepare test data to aid engineering in product evaluation. -Troubleshoot product and equipment issues under the guidance of senior level test technicians and engineers. -Generate failure analysis reports and conduct preliminary routine evaluations, advising Engineering on test findings and quality concerns.

What You Bring

-Robust skill set in electronics or troubleshooting. -Proficiency with oscilloscopes and other test engineering equipment. -Capability to lift a 20-pound high voltage power supply and occasionally up to 50 lbs. -Ability to set up test equipment and conduct electrical tests as per work instructions. -Ability to read schematics and understand the general theory of operation of systems. -Working knowledge of high voltage power supplies. -Capability to do complex troubleshooting and testing, including final testing of assembled power supplies. -Experience in troubleshooting to component level, especially in high voltage power supplies. -Physical ability to stand and work for at least 8 hours a day. -Comfort with voltage levels ranging from 14KV to 160 KV.
