Electrical Site Manager

Overview

Lead execution of 400/220kV GIS substation project, managing site activities & compliance.

Tasks

-Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and quality standards. -Ensure compliance with TAQA standards and specifications. -Ensure timely execution of electrical works including GIS installation, power transformers, control panels, cable laying, and testing & commissioning. -Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and client representatives. -Manage and supervise all electrical construction activities on-site. -Lead site inspections and resolve technical issues. -Review electrical drawings, method statements, and material submittals. -Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.

What You Bring

-Minimum 12 + years of experience in substation projects, with at least 7 years in 400/220 kV GIS substations. -Strong knowledge of IEC standards, protection systems, and SCADA integration. -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -We prefer/consider candidates with Substation experience only**** -PMP certificate is a plus -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. -Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. -Proven experience working on TAQA / DEWA or similar utility projects in the GCC.
