Evaluating vendor quotations based on technical specifications, pricing, and commercial terms. Managing purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and other procurement-related documents. Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing performance. Staying updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies in the solar industry. Working closely with engineering, project management, and other teams to align procurement activities with project needs. Monitoring stock levels, lead times, and procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials. Ensuring procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.

What You Bring

Experience: 8-12 Years in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial roles within the Solar / Energy Industry -Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. -Knowledge of renewable energy industry standards and regulations -Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. -Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors. -Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV systems, components, and their specifications. -8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar industry. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or Supply Chain Management. -Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to procurement, such as delays or quality issues. -Familiarity with Procurement Software: Experience with procurement systems and tools. -Knowledge of Supply Chain Management: Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process. -Experience with contract management and negotiation. -Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
