Tasks
The Site Engineer will serve as the technical lead at the project site, providing day-to-day coordination between design, construction, and field operations. This role is responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring work is executed per drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues, and supporting project delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is primarily site-based with daily on-site presence required and may require overtime and weekend work depending on project needs. -Perform site inspections and field checks; document progress, issues, and deviations, and initiate corrective actions as required. -Assist with quantity takeoffs, progress tracking, and reporting of installed work versus plan. -Collaborate with stakeholders (owners, consultants, contractors, and internal teams) to resolve technical and logistical challenges. -Support commissioning, start-up, and handover activities, including documentation and close-out packages. -Support planning and sequencing of work, including daily and weekly look-ahead schedules, in coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent. -Act as the primary engineering point-of-contact on site for contractors, vendors, and internal project teams. -Support quality control/quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing coordination, and punch list resolution. -Coordinate RFIs, field change requests, and technical clarifications between the site and the design/engineering team. -Monitor daily construction activities to verify conformance with design intent, codes, standards, and project requirements. -Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure correct execution in the field. -Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, as-built information, redlines, and photo records. -Ensure all work adheres to site safety policies and regulatory requirements; participate in safety walks and toolbox talks as needed.

What You Bring
-EIT or PE license, or progress toward professional licensure. -Experience in regulated environments (e.g., cGMP, FDA, food & beverage, utilities, infrastructure) is a plus. -Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced field environment. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience). -Prior experience with layout, surveying, or field measurements. -Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. -Experience on design-build or EPC projects. -Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, or similar). -Experience working on [commercial / industrial / infrastructure / pharmaceutical / manufacturing] construction projects. -10+ years of experience in a Site Engineer, Field Engineer, or Construction Engineer role. -Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes/standards.
