The Role

Overview

Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from conception to completion.

Tasks

-Build and nurture client relationships, including networking, preparing proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees. -Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. -Effectively manage project budgets and timelines. -Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations. -Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects by providing guidance and support throughout all project phases to produce high-quality, innovative, and sustainable designs. -Develop and implement strategies to ensure team member growth and development. -Continuously improve project processes and techniques. -Prepare and deliver project proposals, presentations, and reports. -Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project designs.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. -In-house Up and Ready Civil 3D Software Training Program -Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. -Professional license or registration (RLA/PLA). -Experience with the entitlement process and site planning. -Experience with sustainable design principles and practices. -A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture design and project management. -Experience with project budgeting and cost estimation. -Knowledge of industry standards and best practices. -Experience with various project types (e.g., parks, commercial, master planned communities, etc.) -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -Experience in managing and mentoring a team of landscape architects. -Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
