Tasks

-Monitors and documents the performance of direct reports and conducts meaningful, honest performance reviews -Negotiates invoicing disputes with customers being mindful of their satisfaction while maximizing profitability -Ensures a safe work environment by modeling and requiring that safety polices are always followed -Efficiently coordinates urgent rental equipment requests -Reviews profit and loss statements to help manage repair expenses and maximize profitability -Prioritizes maintenance productivity by internal/external customer promise (reservation) date, mechanic’s skill level, and profitability to the company -Develops an effective work schedule that meets the daily and after-hour productivity challenges of the branch -Coordinates the availability of sales equipment with the sales coordinator through established procedures -Discusses objectives for strategic goals and develops an achievable action plan for success -Communicates as needed with rental and equipment sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved. -Ensures completion of all relevant paperwork in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to: Safety Damage Sheets, Purchase Orders, Incident Reports, warranty work orders, and customer invoicing -Coordinates the availability of rental equipment with counter representatives as needed -Manages available reports to boost productivity -Ensures company standards of quality are achieved -Trains assigned personnel according to the mechanic’s skill level and the needs of the company -Creates and closes in a timely manner, all PO’s, ensuring accuracy, correct pricing, and detailed comments for future reference -Ensures compliance with the various regulatory agencies, such as ANSI, OSHA, and DOT -Communicates the status of customer repairs in professional and courteous manner -Coordinates the timely preparation of all new equipment deliveries from the manufacturer -Provides positive leadership, a professional image, and solid work ethics and values at all times to establish a behavior model for subordinates -Indirect supervision of Level 1, 2, 3, and Field Service Mechanics

What You Bring

-3+ years supervisory/management experience -Noise: Moderate -Basic knowledge of DBS -High School Diploma or GED -Safety & Product Knowledge -Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook -Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 70 pounds or more -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel -Intermediate knowledge of Wynne -3+ years customer service experience -Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc. -Utilizes strong computer skills by assisting with the processing of work orders, purchase orders, and other relevant paperwork -5 years in the mechanical repair field with lead person or shop foreman experience -Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing -Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills -Intermediate leadership skills
