The Role

Overview

Drive box/vacuum trucks, load/unload goods, maintain paperwork and safety compliance.

Tasks

-Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate run/paperwork completion. -Safely load, transport and unload a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous goods. -Primary focus will be to assist plant operations on a shift schedule. -Shift work with overtime as required. -Operate various types of trucks including Vacuum and Box. -Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment. -Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner. -Operate Pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, etc. -Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation -Complete all required transport documents including pre & post trip inspections.

What You Bring

-Airbrake, hazmat and tanker endorsements. -Mechanical aptitude. -High School diploma minimum. -Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations. -1+ year of driving experience -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Valid Class B Driver's License -Strong work ethic.
