Overview
Lead precast concrete design and mentor junior engineers for infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Support cost estimation for materials -Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, technologies, and advancements in the precast-prestressed field. -Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle. -Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs. -Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions. -Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards. -Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables. -Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently. -Mentor junior staff and support their technical development. -Engage with dynamic groups such as the Community Impact and Fun Committees, Fisher Minds (ERG), and the Employee Advisory Group.

What You Bring
-Professional Engineering License (PE) a plus but not required -Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment -Professional performance standards aligned with Fisher’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. -Familiarity with IBC codes a plus -Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, AASHTO -10 plus years of precast design experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures and pump stations). -You thrive in a culture that celebrates fun and fosters a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere, so you can bring the best of yourself to work every day. -Driven to own projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment -B.S. degree in Civil Engineering preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered -Highly adaptable and proactive in meeting deliverables and deadlines. -Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
