Tasks

-Lead commercial management of subcontractor packages, including tendering and contract administration. -Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets to ensure financial targets are met. -Identify and manage commercial risks, providing solutions and recommendations. -Prepare interim valuations, manage variations, and final accounts. -Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on budget and programme. -Mentor and support junior QS staff where applicable. -Undertake measurement and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out projects.

Quantity Surveyor – Specialist Commercial Interior Fit-Out We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage the commercial aspects of high-profile interior fit-out projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accurate cost control, procurement, and financial management. -Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting project teams. -Proven experience managing large-scale projects and subcontractor packages. -Full UK driving licence with own transport (required for travel to London projects). -Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and commercial software, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. -Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or related discipline preferred. -Minimum 7 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a subcontractor, ideally in interior fit-out or commercial refurbishment. -Must live within approximately one hour commuting distance of High Wycombe. -Permanent right to work full-time in the UK.
