The Role

Overview

Manage construction contracts, staff, schedules, and cost for engineering projects

Tasks

-Resolution of construction disputes. -Management of field staff, including inspectors and office engineers. -Interfaces with the owner, engineers, architects, and other third parties. -Review of contractor payment requests. -Implementation of cost and schedule control procedures for construction management. -Documentation of contractual actions. -Development of periodic reports providing information on construction progress, schedule status, cost/budget status, and quality assurance activities. -Enforcing contract terms and conditions. -Management of RFIs, submittals, and construction changes.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. -Valid driver’s license. -Excellent coordination and oral and written communication skills are required. -Minimum of 5 Years (10 Years is preferred). -Understands the development of CPM Schedules from Baseline Schedules to Monthly Updates. -Experience in Engineering and Construction Management. Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry serving in similar capacities. Experience working with heavy rail systems a plus. -Experience with e-Builder is a plus. -Ability to work in a team environment. -Technical compliance and administration of construction contracts. -Knowledge of the principles of communications systems. In addition, knowledge of P25 radio systems is desirable. -Registration as a Professional Engineer in MA is a plus.
