Tasks
-Provide technical assistance after order receipt & interface with Eaton plants and service organizations -Interface with other Eaton plants & services for solutions and price negotiation -File intercompany warranty Requests and manage warranty for orders -Create a bill of materials for a project proposal -Request authorized price levels for order entry in to Bid Manger -Develop & maintain customer SOV (Schedule of Values) and assist in vendor SOV -Develop WBS/Cost Milestones forecast worksheets for revenue recognition projects Maintain project schedule, cost tracking, and cost estimate with the project management team -Process requests for Bid Manager equipment configuration and order entry -Maintain project documentation control and lead lessons learned -Manage & support System Factory Acceptance Test -Responsible for equipment order accuracy, Value-Engineer equipment design and equipment schedule for the project -Generate 3rd party equipment purchase order requisition -Review/create order summaries based off purchase order and proposal files to identify order entry requirements -Develop & compile project submittals and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals -Manage Eaton plant & factory communication -Lead Program level Backlog meetings and margin reviews -Manage an entire project as an assigned Project Managers (based on project size and complexity) -Interface with external vendors for quotation requests

What You Bring
-Demonstrates proficiency in systems software, such as Vista, Bid Manager, COM, Oracle, QlikView. -Knowledge of corporate and business unit policies. -No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of an Eaton location on the east coast of the united States will be considered. Active duty military candidates are exempt from this description. -Project/ Process Management experience/skills -Strong technical writing ability, organizational skills, documentation and communication skills, and have previously functioned as part of a team dynamic -Understanding of Revenue Recognition / Invoicing / cost management -Working knowledge of all software packages relevant to successful performance of tasks. -Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks simultaneously -Strong sense of urgency and ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Proficient in creative problem solving, conflict resolution and managing priorities -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -Knowledge of Microsoft Projects -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of experience in engineering, sales, project management or field service experience in electrical assemblies, electrical distribution and/or power protection technology OR Associates Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years’ experience engineering, sales, project management or field service experience in electrical assemblies, electrical distribution and/or power protection technology -Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication skills. Particular skill in communicating technical information to non-technical personnel, educating customers, and presenting information to internal and external customers.
