The Role

Overview

Supervise MEP site works, inspect, review submittals, ensure code compliance.

Tasks

-Independently conduct site inspections in selected discipline and prepare site observation reports and issue Non Conformity Reports as needed. -Participate in meetings and workshops regarding discipline when required. -Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner. -Keep daily diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site. -Liaise with contractors' installation and commissioning team in a professional manner. -Independently review material submittals / shop drawings against project specifications and provide comments and status. -Track completion of tasks, prepare lookaheads and trackers for project milestones. -Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice. -Promotion of the importance of health and well-being of the team, including team-building fitness activities, social events and the provision of a healthy work environment -Review design information, tolerances and agreed methods of working. -Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines. -Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.

What You Bring

-Highly collaborative approach across the different technical service offerings -Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Minimum 5 years of related site experience. -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Knowledge of Middle East building codes, and compliance requirements. -Bachelors degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
