- Assisting in the preparation of various technical reports;
- Conducting file reviews, site reconnaissance, and document searches;
- Observing waterfront construction activities; monitor conformance with the construction documents;
- Performing structural and geotechnical design related to waterfront structures and general site construction;
- Inventorying the condition of existing waterfront structures;
- Accurately documenting and communicating with supervisor on any problems encountered on project sites; and
- Assisting with the planning and execution of field investigations;
- Assisting in preparation of plans and details using computer aided design methods;

- 0-2 years of work-related experience;
- Minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Willingness to spend time in the field observing construction activities and performing required investigations;
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, with an interest in structural or geotechnical engineering; Master’s degree with a Structural or Geotechnical specialty or desire to pursue such is preferred;
- Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- EIT Certification, or current registration for FE exam preferred;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
