Tasks

-Lead the planning and execution of our first manufacturing facility, including site selection, layout design, and equipment procurement. -Ensure manufacturing meets relevant safety and certification standards (e.g., ISO, CE, UL). -Implement manufacturing KPIs and process control systems to track performance and maintain operational excellence. -Establish world-class manufacturing processes and systems focused on automation, lean production, and precision assembly. -Define and lead Humanoid’s end-to-end manufacturing strategy from low-volume prototyping to scalable global production. -Develop capacity plans aligned with business objectives, NPI timelines, and long-term demand forecasts. -Build and manage a high-performance manufacturing team, including production, quality, and operations personnel. -Collaborate closely with R&D, hardware engineering, and product design teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and smooth NPI transitions. -Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics -Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve production issues swiftly and sustainably. -Act as a strategic voice in product development, providing input on design tradeoffs and factory feasibility. -Work with supply chain, procurement, and finance to ensure alignment across sourcing, cost control, and production readiness. -Establish and oversee rigorous quality systems and regulatory compliance protocols across all manufacturing activities. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting efficiency, quality, cost, and throughput.

What You Bring

-Experience setting up greenfield manufacturing facilities or scaling startup operations. -Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across product, engineering, and operations. -Passion for robotics, AI, and building the future of human-machine collaboration. -Deep knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies, including lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 technologies. -Proven success in scaling production from prototype to high-volume manufacturing. -Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in capacity planning, cost analysis, and factory operations. -Background in DFM, DFA, and automation of complex electro-mechanical assemblies. -Technical fluency across mechanical, electrical, and software-integrated systems. -Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and digital manufacturing platforms. -10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles within hardware-intensive industries such as robotics, automotive, aerospace, or advanced machinery.
