Fork Lift Operative

Overview

Assemble timber components, pick/pack orders, operate MHE and manage stock.

Tasks

-Carry out stock takes and report discrepancies, assist in investigations for stock gains or losses. -Be aware of, and work within TW Manufacturing health and safety guidelines at all times. -Ensure good housekeeping is maintained. -Loading and unloading vehicles using appropriate MHE. -Put away stock in correct locations from goods in and replenishment of stock. -Receiving, checking and accurately booking goods in. -Picking and packing/wrapping of orders for despatch -Provide innovative ideas, and inputs to continually improve the processes/business. -This role involves picking building materials so is a very physical manual handling operation. -Auditing of picked/wrapped loads.

What You Bring

-​​Experience in the use of basic Microsoft packages (Excel, Word etc) and WMS.​ -Previous experience of driving MHE (Sideloader, Reach truck etc) -Literacy and Numeracy skills -Self-motivated and able to work autonomously -Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines, driven, self-starting and be able to work independently and productively. -Experience of working within a warehouse environment.
