Tasks

-access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Assist in the development and implementation of quality initiatives focused on continuous improvement -Serve as a key resource and subject matter expert on quality control specifications and principles to support Quality leadership -Help ensure quality control operations conform to company policies, regulatory agency guidelines, and compliance standards -Collect, analyze, and present quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to management -Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to maintain quality and reliability standards based on product, engineering, and customer requirements -Participate in project work and special assignments to advance organizational goals and quality initiatives -complete any part of the application process -Support operations to prioritize quality control efforts while managing cost control and waste reduction initiatives -Assist as a liaison with federal, state, and local agencies on quality-related matters under the guidance of the QC Technical Director -Coordinate with external laboratories and third parties involved in testing and quality compliance as directed by QC leadership -Champion the Company’s safety culture by actively supporting safety initiatives and adhering to safety protocols established by Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams -Support and promote the Company’s core values, vision, mission, code of ethics, workplace conduct, and established policies -Assist in mentoring, coaching, and development of QC teams within the organization -Help maintain effective communications channels and foster collaboration across departments and regions to promote quality objectives

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel -Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels -Demonstrated ability to assist with developing and training QHSE or QC personnel -Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience -Detail-oriented with solid critical thinking and problem-solving abilities -Understanding of construction processes and materials production such as asphalt and ready-mix concrete -Proficient with QA/QC testing equipment, quality metrics, and data analysis -Knowledge of material testing standards and specifications governed by federal, state, and local agencies including DOT, ASTM, and AASHTO -ACI and DOT testing certifications preferred; advanced certifications a plus -5+ years of technical quality control experience, with some leadership or supervisory responsibilities preferred
