The Role

Overview

Assist in land acquisition and right‑of‑way for energy infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Help develop proposals, budgets, schedules, and progress reports. -Support major infrastructure projects across diverse industries, including power generation, renewable energy, and technology. -Contribute to environmental stewardship by helping deliver sustainable solutions. -Assist with permit applications for road crossings, building permits, and other regulatory requirements. -Support damage claim investigations and settlement negotiations. -Serve as the bridge between property owners and clients, fostering trust and collaboration. -Negotiate and secure legal land agreements (rights-of-way, leases, grants, fee purchases) on behalf of clients. -Track project land budgets and prepare financial progress reports. -Act as liaison between property owners and clients to maintain positive relationships. -Conduct and review deed/title research and summarize property rights. -Negotiate and secure land agreements that make critical projects possible.

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within expert teams. -Bachelor’s and/or Masters preferred but not required; IRWA or similar registration preferred but not necessary. In lieu of a degree, candidates with 3+ years related experience will be considered. -This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. -Experience with title research, permitting processes, or land valuation studies. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. -Experience in developing and implementing successful growth strategies with power generation, electrical transmission, renewable energy projects, mining, oil & gas, technology clients. -IRWA or similar professional registration. -Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
