Tasks
You will copywrite and create marketing and PR materials using existing templates, update the Cala website and property portals, brief and proofread marketing materials, and brief photography for your region’s developments. You will also provide administrative support and attend marketing planning meetings and liaise with marketing agencies on marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible executing marketing strategies to generate the volume and quality of leads needed to deliver sales and brand awareness in an often challenging and dynamic market. The Marketing Assistant should act as a brand ambassador for Cala Homes and reflect the core values of Quality, Respect, Delivery and Passion in everything that they do. -Monitoring data including targeted and achieved sales rates, web traffic and enquiry levels and database marketing effectiveness reporting to help identify opportunities to review/adjust marketing messaging and media spend proactively. -Working with the commercial team to produce customer-facing specifications to communicate the features of our homes. -Communicating your regional Community Pledge activities to home buyers, land vendors, and community stakeholders. -Creating and deploying database marketing (email and SMS). -Briefing landscapers to create gardens for sales areas and show homes which reflect the target audience and reinforce the Cala brand. -Using the standard designs, specifying sales areas with the technical and commercial team and ensuring delivery by agreed signage and marketing suite subcontractors. -Collaborating with Sales & Marketing Director, Sales Managers and on-site Sales Team to adjust messaging at development and plot level. -Briefing and proofreading digital development brochures to set templates. This will involve liaising with technical, land, construction, commercial, and sales teams to ensure accuracy of all elements. -Working with the PR agency and Social Media team to maximise the online communications opportunities (including organic social media, blogs, and press releases) that will enhance Cala’s employer brand. -Creating detailed briefings for interior designers to produce show homes which reflect the target audience and reinforce the Cala brand. -Complying with the Consumer Protection Act and National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency and Cala guidelines to promote our homes and services in a transparent and fair manner. -Working with the PR agency and Social Media team to maximise the online communications opportunities (including organic social media, blogs, and press releases) throughout a development lifecycle (e.g., launches, key events, delivery of planning obligations, and Community Pledge activities). -Supporting sales rate by executing effective development marketing of the required standards for brand consistency nationally. You will achieve this with support from Cala’s chosen media, marketing, signage, and marketing suite agencies. -Collaborating on Cala-wide Marcomms projects and asset creation to continually improve the available toolkits and systems. -Copywriting and updating your developments’ online listings including the Cala website, property portals, and estate agent websites to showcase our product’s USPs against all competition in the area, including resale homes. -The Consumer Protection Act and National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency guidelines, promoting our products and services in a fair and compliant manner. -General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) helping to ensure that our customer’s data is always treated with respect. -Acting as a brand ambassador within your region, ensuring consistent use of the Cala internal and external brands. -Arranging for presentation materials showing customer options/upgrades within the sales suite. -Ensuring prompt cancellation of all media activity at the end of the site sales period. -Briefing and arranging approval of Computer-Generated Images of your developments, including site plans, street scenes, internal or external flythroughs, aerial views, and housetype images. -Working with construction, sales, commercial teams, signage and marketing suite subcontractors, landscapers, interior designers, and marketing agency to ensure timely installation of sales areas, show homes, landscaping, and signage. -Applying SEO best practice to all development pages, using the appointed SEO platform. -Working with tiling and kitchen manufacturers to select options for show homes and customer options/upgrades. -Briefing and arranging photography of your developments. -The New Homes Quality Code, ensuring our customers are aware of their rights throughout the purchase process and warranty period. -Helping to achieve the above duties within Cala KPIs around cost per lead and cost per reservation. -Creating, and deploying simple videos and advertisements using established templates on the Cala brand hub and templates provided by our media agency. -Regularly visiting sites within your region to review the presentation of all aspects of the sales environment, ensuring signage remains up to date and relevant, and communicating marketing plans with the site sales team.

What You Bring
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills Confidence to work with a range of levels both internally and externally. Experience working with Salesforce is advantageous, although not essential. Driving licence Experience working with an email marketing platform is advantageous, although not essential. Copes well with the pressures of the role and the changing priorities and remains positive Knowledge of a CMS system such as Umbraco will be beneficial but not mandatory. Brand Awareness and Reputation Management Experience in the new homes industry in a sales or marketing role is desirable. Ability to prioritise workload. Strong planner and multi-tasker with a high level of attention to detail. Personable and approachable Advanced knowledge and competency with of Microsoft Office products including Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Able to draft professional communications. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management Experience working with an SEO platform such as BrightEdge is desirable. Educated to degree level in Marketing or another relevant business studies field. High-level proofreading skills essential
