Tasks

-Track various changes, verify time and material work, measure, and document job quantities. -QC Inspectors will inspect the construction of a wide variety of airport improvements, utilities projects to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, contracts, permits, environmental documents, agreements for work, and may provide construction inspection support. -Conduct special inspections on various disciplines. -Assist in reviewing monthly progress payment requests when assigned to a program. -Create and maintain comprehensive daily inspection reports that capture the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW of all construction work activities, while ensuring the reports are clear and concise to accurately reflect daily progress.

What You Bring

-Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting buildings, roads, and/or bridge projects -Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities -Seismic Resistance -Reinforced masonry -High School diploma or equivalent, Technical school or Associate degree -Ability to interpret construction schedules -Prestressed Concrete Controlled Activities: -Relevant Industry Certifications -Knowledge of Project Management Information Software used for inspection/document control (i.e. PM Web, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, etc.) -Expertise in identifying and addressing code violations, ensuring that all aspects of construction meet the required standards -Confined Space Entry Training -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Sprayed Applied Fireproofing -Computer proficiency to review and utilize electronic equipment for contract documents efficiently, including change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other inspection documents, with minimal supervision. -Possess experience, knowledge, and understanding of methods used throughout construction. -Fall protection and harness training -ICC certifications preferred -30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years -Reinforced concrete
