Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Provide technical guidance, review designs, and help resolve project challenges with practical, hands-on expertise; -Identify and mitigate risks related to health & safety, design, sustainability, and commercial factors; -Represent the company professionally, support business development, and mentor junior engineers. -Condition and structural assessment of existing structures to determine suitability for reuse; -Lead the civil engineering aspects of energy projects—from concept to detailed design—delivering drawings, specs, estimates, and schedules. -Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation, and support site activities through inspections and construction monitoring;

What You Bring

-Detailed civil/structural design experience, including foundation design; -Experience of working with CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD; -Experience in the scoping of and management of site surveys and investigations; -Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment. -Previous experience of providing consulting services in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment; -Energy project experience; -Detailed working knowledge of codes and standards used within the UK energy sector (Eurocodes and British Standards). -Chartered Engineer status; -You hold a minimum 2:1 degree in civil engineering.
