Tasks

-Represent Craftsman Electric in industry events and with potential partners. -Analyze current and potential partners and opportunities to ensure Craftsman is working with partners that align with their culture and understand their value proposition. -Oversee marketing efforts aligned to BD goals. -Work closely with internal service and construction teams to qualify and deliver on new opportunities. -Develop and launch CRM and sales funnel tools to manage lead generation and deal tracking. -Create, implement, and oversee a full-cycle business development strategy. -Conduct and lead prospecting efforts to deliver revenue goals, grow recurring service customers, stabilize demand volatility, and improve revenue forecasting. -Do you want to work in collaboration with an energetic leadership team to drive strategic growth for the company? -Strengthen relationships with preferred general contractors and identify new strategic partners (both contractors and direct clients). -Develop and establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks in alignment with the leadership team.

What You Bring

This position is on site in the Cincinnati office with travel as needed to customers and sites. -Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred but not required. -Experience building systems and processes from the ground up including CRM selection, process design, and client targeting strategies. -10+ years in business development, ideally in electrical contracting, construction, or facilities services. -Strong knowledge of construction industry trends, RFP/procurement processes, and project lifecycles. -Quarterback responses to RPS with Craftsman estimators, project manager, and the leadership team. -Proven record of successfully managing and enhancing relationships in a construction setting, with an emphasis on high-performance team culture and client satisfaction. -Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders. -Proven ability to drive revenue growth and establish lasting client relationships.
