The Role

Overview

Assist in designing utility‑scale solar and storage projects, focusing on civil site work.

Tasks

-Perform design computations and calculations related to the civil site design, mass grading and earth work calculation. -Assist with preparing the conceptual, preliminary, and final design and specifications that are complete, accurate and in accordance with large-scale solar engineering practices. -Work closely with other engineering staff across multiple disciplines. -Involved with the resolution of design challenges and tackle those challenges efficiently by thinking out-of-the-box thinking and using creativity. -Work closely with the design team to understand technical needs and identify most efficient solution(s).

What You Bring

-Experience with Civil 3D. -Minimum GPA of 3.4 preferred. -Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year technical school, college, or university in civil/construction engineering, land surveying, or a related field. -Must be at least 18 years old. -Prior internship or related consulting experience is a plus.
