Tasks

-Design and draft scaffolding structures using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). -Assist in cost estimation and project planning related to scaffolding requirements. -Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams during scaffolding erection and dismantling. -Ensure designs comply with safety regulations (OSHA, BS, EN, or local standards). -Review and approve scaffolding designs for various applications (construction, maintenance, industrial projects). -Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and best practices in scaffolding design. -Prepare detailed engineering drawings, material take-offs, and specifications for scaffolding projects. -Conduct load calculations, stability analysis, and risk assessments for scaffolding systems. -Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to develop optimal scaffolding solutions.

CDhorizon FZE is seeking a skilled Scaffolding Designer/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and engineering scaffolding structures to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in scaffolding systems, CAD software proficiency, and a deep understanding of construction and engineering principles. -Familiarity with industry standards (OSHA, BS 5973, EN 12811). -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related field. -Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus. -Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in scaffolding design/engineering, preferably in construction or oil & gas industries. -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Attention to detail and commitment to safety. -Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. -Scaffolding certification (CISRS, Advanced Scaffolding, or equivalent). -Certifications (Preferred): -Strong knowledge of scaffolding types (tube & fitting, system scaffolding, cantilever, etc.). -Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Scaffolding Design Software).
