Tasks

Step into a high-impact role at the centre of Australia’s energy transition - advising on the commercialisation of renewables, shaping power procurement strategies, and driving market outcomes across the National Electricity Market (NEM). -Advise on market and commercialisation strategies for renewable and storage projects. -Contribute to business development and client growth initiatives. -Lead end-to-end offtake and power contracting processes - from strategy to execution. -Support corporate clients in navigating complex procurement and market challenges. -Mentor junior team members and collaborate across multidisciplinary projects.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with a strong commercial background and a passion for the energy transition. You’ll work with renewable and storage developers, large energy consumers, and market intermediaries to deliver commercial, strategic, and analytical insights that drive meaningful outcomes. -Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills. -Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. -Exposure to financial modelling and project development lifecycles. -Experience in renewable energy, storage, or environmental markets. -Proven understanding of wholesale and retail market structures. -4–6 years’ relevant experience in Australia’s NEM (WEM experience an advantage). -Experience with commercial offtake agreement negotiation & structuring
