Role Overview As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex water resources and drainage projects from concept through completion. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and maintain strong client relationships while driving projects that protect communities and enhance resilience.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Design stormwater conveyance systems, detention/retention facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, etc.).
  • Perform watershed studies and evaluate impacts of land development on drainage systems.
  • Ensure designs meet TxDOT, municipal, and FEMA standards.
  • Prepare drainage reports, stormwater management plans, and floodplain analyses.
  • Coordinate with GIS teams for mapping and data integration.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Oversee planning, design, and delivery of water resources and drainage projects.
  • Serve as primary client contact and develop long-term relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in water resources/drainage design and project management.

  • PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
