The Role
Overview
Assist PMs in executing and managing data center construction projects.

Tasks
-Coordinate project activities with superintendents, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. -Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) with some independence. -Conduct and document team and customer meetings, including agendas, meeting notes, and follow-ups. -Assist the PM to break out estimates by cost code and enter into Procore. -Track site safety compliance and collaborate with the Safety team on corrective actions. -Help manage customer contracts and document disputes or claims. -Develop relationships with vendors and partners; execute outreach and relationship-building efforts under PM guidance. -Offer informal feedback and mentorship to peers. -Monitor compliance with project specifications and drawings; support resolution of non-conforming work. -Manage submittals, RFIs, and coordination processes under PM direction. -Develop and adjust project schedules with oversight. -Support risk tracking and mitigation planning. -Act as the main point of contact between project stakeholders under PM direction. -Conduct inspections and manage quality processes under PM guidance. -Track project financial progress with supervision. -Draft and organize contract documents, including owner/prime contracts and change orders. -Assist in securing permits and tracking code compliance. -Assist in preparing and maintaining project status reports for internal and external stakeholders. -Safety: Actively participate in safety initiatives and promote daily awareness on site. -Manage portions of the close-out process, including inspections, documentation, and final handover to the customer. -Assist in procurement negotiations with partners and vendors. -Order project materials and manage vendor relationships with oversight. -Prepare and manage change orders under guidance. -Delegate daily project tasks to team members with oversight. -Build rapport with customers and serve as a trusted liaison under supervision.

What You Bring
-Basic understanding of power distribution and low-voltage system components. -Basic understanding of general construction requirements and mechanical equipment installation. -High School Diploma and/or equivalent education and experience. -Professionalism: Model professional behavior in communication, meetings, and documentation. -Commercial contracting experience, preferably in the data center or mission-critical space. -Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Procore preferred). -Foundational understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications. -Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field. -Mutual Respect: Communicate openly and respectfully, encouraging inclusive collaboration. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Strong communication and presentation skills. -1+ years of project management or construction-related experience.
