Tasks

-Follow up on leads, qualify suspects and discuss with President any prospects. -This position is responsible for the direct supervision & mentorship of project managers for the division and the indirect supervision of all employees within those teams. -Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to President for consideration. -Lead a project team(s) to ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget and with the greatest ROI possible by following processes and procures written for project management. -Develop presentations for all negotiated jobs. -Interact regularly with the executive team and individual Project Managers to ensure the company’s priorities are aligned with the total company direction. -Participate in the development of the organization’s plans and programs as a tactical partner in evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning and regulatory action on the areas of responsibility. -Develop qualification descriptions and resumes that meet owner required delivery systems. -Advise, negotiate, manage and administer all contracts into which the corporation may enter. Counsel with the CFO and General Counsel on financial matters and legal ramifications associated with the financial viability of entering into such contracts. -Develop and maintain a relationship with prospects until jobs are turned over to a Project Manager. -Identify and plan for areas of risk. -Strategic plan and execute to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations. -Develop credibility for the division by providing timely and accurate analyses of budgets, project proposals and business trends in order to assist the President and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities. -Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s function and performance.

What You Bring

-Ability to occasionally lift files, open filing cabinets and bend at waist; or stand on a stool as necessary. -Ability to sit with back at a 90-degree angle for up to 8 hours per day. -12 years’ of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in construction management required. -Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. -Master’s degree preferred. -Reliable transportation and a valid, Florida Driver License required -Full dexterity of wrists and fingers required with repetitive motions. -Ability to regularly lift, push, pull or carry up to 10 pounds. -Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to 30 pounds. -Bachelor’s degree required. -Ability to look at a computer for up to 8 hours per day. -Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in written form. -Ability to navigate a construction site including uneven walkways, crawl spaces, etc. -Ability to stand up right for up to 4 hours at a time.
