Tasks
-Execution of disciplined sales process and utilization of the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer opportunities, tasks, and customer interactions. -Provide comprehensive customer support by reviewing project specifications, preparing and presenting bills of materials, and developing solution proof of concepts. -Stay updated on industry trends/ segments and technological advancements to offer the best solutions. -Highlight the Innovation Center's technology, solutions, and services to position the organization as an industry leader. -Implement organizational commercial plan and marketing strategies. -Participate in relevant trade shows and events. -Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Consultants, and Automation Specialists in opportunity pursuits by providing automation systems recommendations focused on customer needs and business objectives. -Support account planning and sales strategy development. -Analyze competitive solutions, understand competitor strategies, highlight differentiators to customers and internal partners. -Consult with customers to understand and evaluate their existing processes and needs to identify areas for improvement and innovation. -Maintain technical competency on the full breadth of solutions and services available from internal and external partners.

What You Bring
-Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. -Valid trade credentials are highly preferred. -Ability to stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements. -Prior experience working with Rockwell Automation products and services is preferred. -Customer service or sales experience in a business-to-business setting is highly preferred. -Associate’s degree in Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or other related field; AND -Ability to travel regularly through Werner territories. Some overnight travel is required. -5 years of related experience required in lieu of a degree. -3 years of relevant experience is required. -Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or other related field preferred. -Prior experience delivering presentations and demonstrations. -Experience with customer engagement and providing tailored solutions.
