Tasks

-Act as the SME for all HSEQ matters across the organization's largest and high risk projects within the region. Advising key stakeholders on compliance and legal requirements -Take ownership of the HSEQ program for the region. Identifying areas for growth, continuous improvement and reporting back to HSEQ leadership to ensure a best in class culture -Keep up to date with any legislation changes to ensure the organization is compliant with all local, state and federal requirements. -Partner with cross-functional teams, embedding HSEQ into the all stages of a project lifecycle

What You Bring

This position can also be based from the other following locations: Boston, MA or Newark, NJ - However, regular travel to New York will be required. -Lives locally in the New York area and able to travel as required (circa. 25%-40%) -Previous experience working on transportation, rail or water infrastructure projects (Required) -Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality or related discipline (Required) -Proven experience managing a regional HSEQ program within the engineering and design consulting industry -Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, across all business levels
